Les États généraux du magazine, MBAL, Le Locle, 29 April 2023

In collaboration with Federica Chiocchetti, the director of the Musée des Beaux-Arts du Locle (MBAL) in Le Locle, Switzerland, I co-organized a symposium on the state of the magazine today (in French). To reflect on the role of the magazine today and its prospects for the future, we invited a number of specialists to take part in a series of three panels which I moderated in the fields of art, women’s magazines and culture and politics.

Art: Catherine Millet (art press), Adrien Chevrot (PALM), Claudia Jolles (Kunstbulletin).

Women’s magazines: Emanuela Mirabelli (Marie Claire), Francesca Spiller (Reading Room), Alexandre Lanz (Femina).

Generalist magazines: Lucy Conticello (M, Le Monde), Stephane Régy (Society), Rinny Gremaud (T, Le Temps).
