This is Photography: The First 200 Years

Alongside Susanna Brown, Darius Himes, Luce Lebart, Shoair Mavlian, Azu Nwagbogu, Marie Robert and Holly Roussell, I was a member of the advisory board for the photographic anthology This is Photography: The First 200 Years, edited by Nathalie Herschdorfer.

Presented chronologically, the book showcases key photographs and photographic objects year by year, each accompanied by a short text entry offering historical, technical, or critical context. Interleaved throughout are longer thematic texts by contributing writers including David Campany, William A. Ewing, Jennifer Good, Darius Himes and Luce Lebart, as well as extracts from the writings of photographers and major thinkers.
